This is a gripe. Don't you get the feeling we are always being ripped off? For example in England I used a pay phone and put in £2, used 50 pence of it and it said no change. What the hell is that? I don't know about you but I call it theft. On complaining nobody could accept responsibility. Basically Big Brother is stealing from you Britannia!
Secondly, at Steers in Joburg they have a thing called Wacky Wednesday (i.e. 2 burgers for the price of 1).I invited a mate for lunch at work and went to buy burgers for us. Had I ordered two regular Cheese Burger meals (burger, chips, coke) the price would have been R70.00. Instead I said I'd have the Wacky Wednesday Special but instead of Guacamole sauce (forgive me, but who the hell has Guacamole Sauce on a burger anyway ?) I'd have cheese on the burgers. Then separately ordered chips and drinks. They said I couldn't do that but, but I insisted. So they rang up cheese charge of R5 each. My bill therefore coming to R80? I just looked at them blankly and asked for Cheese Burger Meals. My question to you Leesie is A) Where is the logic and B) Where is the customer service ? If fact what has happened to customer service and basic integrity ? Enlighten me Leesie, tell me I'm not alone in this Dark Age Renaissance.

Note from Leesie Reesh, I sympathise, man. On both points.
Firstly the rip off bit. You are so right. It's this lack of recourse that gets to me. So they take the cost of the call, and then 3 times that amount again because they have no change. And if you want to do anything about it, sorry for you!
I am only too familiar with the idiocy of your second point. In fact, I point you to one of my earlier gripes:
The Pizza Incident.
These "specials" are such crap. I refer you to
