This is usually an airline/Eurostar thing and is
bloody annoying. We're going to watch the rugby in Paris this weekend with our
mates. They are unable to come now, so we thought we'd get two of our other
mates to join us. After all, the hotel, rugby tickets and train are all paid
for. Easy plan, swap two for two....
Ooooh noooo. Dat be too easy. The Eurostar
tickets are non-refundable and
non-transferable. So the couple who now hope to join us will have to buy new
seats. What's that all about? The Eurostar has two seats bought and paid for.
What's it to them who sits on them?
Another way of fleecing Joe Public for
money.
